Sessions to Look at Climate Change and Its Impact on Mental Health

Dr. David Pollack introduces the monthly column dedicated to climate change and mental health in Psychiatric News with a brief overview of the acronym that Climate Psychiatry Alliance has adopted for organizing intervention about the impacts of global warming:  CA2RE* (Clinical, Administrative, Advocacy, Research and Education) guide thinking for developing a broad agenda for the psychiatric professional engagement.  The column includes a side bar with listing of 13 climate change related sessions at the upcoming American Psychiatric Association annual meeting, May 18-22, 2019 in San Francisco. If you are attending APA, check some of these out.  Keep an eye out for this monthly column, which will expand on the topic. Adopted from John Coverdale, MD and others from the editorial board of Academic Psychiatry.
